This mature parkland golf course was designed initially in 1932 by Messrs, Hawtree and Taylor, who at the time were one of the prominent golf course architects. In 2018 the club decided to completely redevelop the golf course and employed the world renowned golf course architects McKenzie and Ebert, who are responsible for developing some of the world’s most famous open championship courses.

The course is recognised for always being in excellent condition with fantastic tree lined fairways and wonderful greens. Whether you are playing from the back tees or the front tees, this is recognised as one of the best tests of golf in the Midlands, creating a great balance of difficulty and reward for every level of golfer. You will need to score well on the front nine as the last 6 holes are a great challenge for everyone.
